Overview
A ground-up C++ course built for one target: walking into a trading-firm interview and out-coding everyone in the room. Memory, pointers, RAII, the STL, concurrency, and the debugging skills that decide those interviews, with every exercise compiled and graded in a sandbox from the browser.
What I built
- 13 modules, from memory models to lock-free queues, with 3 exams and a capstone: an order book engine.
- An in-browser editor (Monaco) wired to a Next.js API route that never lets the browser talk to the compiler directly. The route checks the Supabase session, rate-limits each user to 20 runs a minute, loads the exercise's hidden test harness server-side, and sends user code plus harness to a sandboxed Judge0 instance.
- An algorithms track of 20 topics, from arrays and hashing to advanced synthesis, and the start of a Bash for Systems course: 265 exercises in all, each with its own test harness.
- Accounts and saved progress on Supabase, so a learner can pick up where they left off.
